Of the 76 projects presented for the Cybersecurity Ventures INCIBE has selected the 10 best Spanish cybersecurity start-ups. They presented their projects for the International Acceleration Program organized by INCIBE.
With this event, held at the headquarters of The Cube, has put the final touches to the program ‘Cybersecurity Ventures’ developed by the National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE) with the aim of encouraging the development of new technology-based companies in the field of cybersecurity.
For four months, this acceleration program offered intensive support to ten newly created companies to mature their businesses, attract investment and attract customers, all through training, mentoring and networking with investors and companies.
Of the 10 projects the winners have resulted:
1.- Smartfense, an online platform for training in information security.
2.- Dinoflux, technological platform project to adequately respond to security incidents.
3.- Kymatio, project of Prevention of the risk of internal origin (Insider Threat). He has won the third prize.
Among the other finalist projects are Dualogy, Ensotest, Ironchip, Keynetic,, Newralers, Securekids y Syneidis.
Cybersecurity Ventures has counted with the collaboration of more than 35 public and private organizations and has given the 10 participating start-ups the opportunity to hold more than 70 meetings with investors and potential business partners who proposed the real market challenges to which the Participating start-ups have had to respond. The program has the collaboration of the Junta de Castilla y León, Ayuntamiento de León y el Instituto Leonés de Desarrollo Económico, Formación y Empleo through the Instituto Leonés de Desarrollo Económico, Formación y Empleo, and the Leonés Institute for Development, Training and Employment (ILDEFE).
In its first edition a total of 76 projects were presented, although 36 met the required requirements.
