Musk specified in his email that the person has conducted extensive and damaging sabotage to the company operations by leaking codes of internal products and exporting data to outsiders.

Tesla Inc. Chief Executive Elon Musk claimed that an employee attempted to sabotage the car maker in an email sent to employees Sunday night, according to a Monday report. CNBC reported Monday afternoon that employees received an email from Musk just before midnight Sunday that described “a Tesla employee who had conducted quite extensive and damaging sabotage to our operations.” According to Musk, the employee changed code for Tesla’s manufacturing operating system and sent internal information to third parties. Musk said the investigation would continue. “We need to figure out if he was acting alone or with others at Tesla and if he was working with any outside organizations,” Musk said.
