Palladium Hotel Group has selected Kymatio®, the most advanced solution to raise awareness and train its employees in the face of cyber actions, and continues to take steps to protect its users’ data, guaranteeing its customers the greatest possible security.

This data is particularly sensitive and requires the support of highly specialized cybersecurity services such as Kymatio® to ensure their protection. The massive use of new technologies, the growing weight of the digitization of processes in the business, the increasingly demanding legislation and the exponential increase in the number of cyberattacks are factors that make this complex work a key task.

In this scenario, the Kymatio® solution provides Palladium Hotel Group with the capacity it needs to automate human cyber resources management. To do this, the cloud information security awareness platform is enabled, which allows to improve the level of alertness of employees against cyberattacks such as phishing, ransomware, or social engineering, always with the aim of enhancing safe behaviors among people and that they are prepared when they are facing an attack.

The new line of employee risk management services provided by Kymatio® in turn facilitates compliance with different regulations (NIST, CISA, ISO, DORA, CIR, etc.) and regulatory frameworks such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), reinforcing the level of security of the data that customers provide, and thereby reducing the level of risk to which the group is exposed.

For Palladium Hotel Group, digital is a fundamental element in its strategy and to increase security it was necessary to invest in the human factor, preparing it to face the growing cyberthreats. Turning the group’s human team, in the first line of defense against cybercrime, is the ambitious goal that guides the cybersecurity project that now finally also incorporates people.

The Palladium Hotel Group program for the management of cyberneousal, awareness and training seeks to coordinate all the necessary staff strengthening operations from different angles. These include obtaining advanced risk metrics, launching the personalized security awareness program for each employee, launching attack simulation campaigns and monitoring potential employee credential exposure as well as proactive mitigation.

The Kymatio® service streamlines process management and downloads professionals of repetitive administrative tasks. It also provides the flexibility that the entity needs to scale and adapt risk management to the needs that are held at all times. The short-term objective is to know the strengths and weaknesses of the staff and begin the proactive strengthening process that in the medium term will allow the implementation of a strong safety culture in Palladium Hotel Group.

All these processes result in an increase in the level of security, which increases confidence in the entity and thereby gains competitiveness.

For Francisco García LázaroCorporate Information Security Mr. Director at Palladium Hotel Group, “Working on people’s risk is a complex area and requires in-depth knowledge of the subject. In this case, it was key for the security team to have the support of prominent specialists in this field and advanced platforms to rely on. In addition, the regulatory and legislative factor is very demanding in this regard. Kymatio® also adds the possibility of obtaining advanced metrics and using new functionalities, allowing the organization’s efforts to be adapted to the real needs of our staff.”

Fernando Mateus,  ICEO of Kymatio®, has pointed out “The human element continues to be key in the generation of security breaches. This year we have witnessed a multitude of attacks on hotel chains and airlines, most of the resulting breaches were initiated by phishing attacks on employees and different types of social engineering. By incorporating the human factor into its security strategy, Palladium Hotel Group is at the forefront of organizations that are aware of the importance of implementing a human risk management system and a solid security awareness program.”
